The Opportunity As the company transitions, we are seeking a Transportation Analyst to perform analysis to drive process optimization andor cost reduction. Responsibilities: * Create and maintain department and carrier activity and performance metrics and KPI scorecard * Support development and maintenance of transportation spend, budget projection and actual expense analysis * Lead and participate on project teams to drive transportation improvement initiatives aimed to enhance customer experience andor lower operating costs * Partner with cross-functional individuals, including Customer Service, Quality, Plants, Warehousing, international affiliates, external service providers and end customers * Manage shipment incident: troubleshoot issues, communicate and resolve * Drive corrective actions * Provide analytics for supplier relationship management, business reviews * Conduct data mining and analysis from various systems to support order and shipment management * Support launch of new products * Maintain and Develop applicable department and supplier Standard Operating Procedures * Support effective cold chain distribution solutions and management of temp-controlled products during shipment Qualifications: The Individual * Must have a 4 year degree (BA) in business, supply chain or related operations field * Must have 3-5 years of experience in transportation analytics * Must also have strong analytical skills and expertise * A strong proficiency with MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint is preferred * Strong collaboration and interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written is required * An ability to work independently and in a team environment * Experience leading teams and process improvement projects * Six Sigma training and certification preferred * Ability to work in dynamic environment, think creatively, implement process improvements, handle multiple tasks simultaneously Join us on the Journey Let?s get started Apply today or refer a friend Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law. *OPS #LI-POST #CB#
