Thermal Lab Technician – TCP Reliable – Edison, NJ, USA
Job Summary:
The Thermal Lab Technician primarily supports the lab services for Cold Chain Development by performing all tasks related to testing of temperature controlled packaging.
Essential Job Functions: 1. Setting up temperature controlled packaging tests
2. Downloading test data
3. Creating Excel charts for inclusion in test reports
4. Calibration of thermocouple data loggers
5. Programming environmental chambers and other lab equipment
6. Maintaining documentation
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education requirements:
Associates Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or another science related degree or equivalent experience.
Prior Employment Experience:
1 -2 years experience in a lab environment
Other Skills required:
Microsoft Office Suite
Competencies Required for this Position:
Detail oriented
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of cGMP procedures
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to solder wires and perform light equipment maintenance
