Temperature Control Logistics Manager – Bristol-Myers Squibb – NJ, USA

The purpose of Temperature Control Logistics Manager role is to develop, implement and execute Global Temperature Control processes, initiatives and solutions which are GMP/GDP compliant, sustainable and agile, including metrics, data, and investigations. This is critical to ensure product quality as well as supply continuity.
Responsibilities:
•Utilize reporting systems, networks and industry forums to support evaluation of Global Temperature Control evolving regulations, region and site requirements, risks and opportunities.
•Develop, implement and execute Global Temperature Control processes and solutions through collaboration with Quality, Packaging Technology, Sites, Warehouse, Transportation and external partners
•Author, execute and report on lane Performance Qualifications ensuring cross functional and regulatory requirements are achieved to support filings and product launches
•Manage key and supporting metrics that provide both indicators of past performance as well as leading indicators of projected performance. Ensure sustainability of metrics and standardization across all Temperature Control processes, services and solutions
•Provide input shaping Global Temperature Control strategy and Community of Practice (CoP)
•Program execution by delivery of best practices, initiatives, KPI management, proactive course correction and optimization
Education:
•Undergraduate Degree preferably in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Mechanical or Chemical or Packaging Engineering
•Advanced degree, diploma or certification in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Thermal Packaging desired
Experience:
•Required: 2+ years of Logistics/Temperature Control Management experience from a reputed, global Pharmaceutical or similar product profile company.
•Required: Significant knowledge and best practice experience developing, implementing and executing a Temperature Control processes which establishes robust temperature control solutions considering regulatory and logistics requirements.
•Required: Good understanding and exposure to current Good Distribution Practices (cGDP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other global regulatory requirements.
•Required: significant experience in technical writing
•Preferred: Exposure and experience in Supply Chain process, principles and practices
