Strategic Temp Control Logistics Manager – Bristol Myers Squibb – New Brunswick, NJ, USA

The purpose of this role is to develop,
implement and execute Global Temperature Control processes, initiatives and
solutions which are GMP/GDP compliant, sustainable and agile. This is critical
to ensure product quality as well as supply continuity.
The main accountabilities of
this role include and are not limited to: Provide
input shaping Global Temperature Control strategy and Virtual Center of
Excellence(vCofE)Develop,
implement and execute Global Temperature Control processes, initiatives and
solutionsProgram
execution by delivery of best practices, initiatives, KPI management, proactive
course correction and optimizationDrafting and executing lane
Performance Qualifications(PQs) for regulatory filings and product launchesSupporting
Temperature Control vCofE
SCALE & SCOPE OF THE ROLE:
Global
Temperature Control management of storage, preparation and transport
temperature control processesCommercial
critical raw materials, actives, intermediaries and finished goods having
temperature requirementsInternal
and external commercial manufacturing, packaging and distribution sites
supporting temperature controlvCofE
facilitation, strategy shaping, best practices, research, support and/or
training for all BMS Temperature Control aspects. Risk reduction, high delivery
success rate and consistent robust performanceInfluence
and collaborate with SPLs, Regulatory, Stability, Quality, Packaging
Technology, Sites, Warehouse, Transportation and external partners in the
effective and efficient deployment of Temperature Control processes, initiatives
and solutions
INDEPENDENCE:
High

Qualifications KNOWLEDGE / SKILLEducation: Undergraduate Degree preferably in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Packaging EngineeringAdvanced degree, diploma or certification in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Thermal Packaging strongly preferredExperience / Knowledge Desired: Required: 5+ years of Logistics/Temperature Control Management experience from a reputed, global Pharmaceutical or similar product profile company.Required: Significant knowledge and best practice experience developing, implementing and executing a Temperature Control processes which establishes robust temperature control solutions considering regulatory and logistics requirements.Required: Good understanding and exposure to current Good Distribution Practices (cGDP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other global regulatory requirements.Preferred: Exposure and experience in Supply Chain process, principles and practices Personal Competencies Desired/Required: Required: Demonstrated cross functional leadership capabilitiesRequired: Ability to negotiate and influence with and without authority in complex, high impact situationsRequired: Demonstrated capability in implementing challenging goals, objectives and practices in a complex and ambiguous environmentRequired: Developed ability to foster a team environment to establish and maintain a collaborative relationshipsStrongly Preferred: Demonstrated proficiency in competency areas of Strategic Agility, Organizational Agility, Business Acumen, Process Design and Management, Organization Change Management and Process Effectiveness – in globally diverse, rapidly changing cross-cultural environmentPreferred: Strong strategic and analytical thinking, problem solving and rapid decision making skillsPreferred: Strong presentation and communication skills both, oral and written Bristol-Myers Squibb is an equal opportunity employer – Vet/Disability – 1602645
