Responsible for championing process improvement focusing on value stream management, quality improvement, and cost reduction. Responsible for Cold Chain practices to meet product guidelines. Leads division-wide process improvement projects. Responsible for extracting and analyzing operational information, and performing statistical analysis to identify root cause.
Lead Shipping Quality and Compliance initiatives focused on Cold Chain compliance, product stability and cost optimization.
Support divisional deployment of Lean Sigma through communications, coaching, and training.
Lead divisional process improvement projects.
Develop processes and procedures to support the ongoing sustainment of process improvement.
Support development of a cost of quality framework that defines the risk of quality metrics in financial terms.
Collaborate and support the Quality Management group in regards to process improvement and its role in accreditation standards.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of experience or High School Diploma/GED and at least 11 years of experience. The experience should entail working in a project management environment, including facilitating teams and project analysis.
Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and in recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems and providing both short and long-term solutions.
Experience in applying process engineering and statistics to develop meaningful analysis.
Experience in leading teams and change management.
Experience communicating both verbally (on phone, one-on-one, to groups) and in writing (emails, letters, reports, presentations) to various audiences (work group, team, company management, prospective acquisitions, external clients).
Experience with MS Office Suite
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Previous Cold Chain engineering/analytical support preferred.
Six Sigma Black Belt experience preferred.
