Sonoco Thermosafe is looking for a Senior Account Manager in their Southeast region.
Primary Responsibilities:
Communicate with existing customers, provide information on new products, resolve problems, etc.
Communicate with potential customers, researching & following up on leads, scheduling meetings, making cold calls, providing information on value of SCA products, SCA mission/values, etc.
Following through to close sales and get orders
Use cost estimating knowledge to establish pricing and implement pricing strategy with customers
Oversee project, sample, pricing & quality reports
Work with other departments to communicate about customer needs, product ideas, etc.
Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of industry and trade trends/developments
Provide annual sales forecasts
Develop and implement strategic sales plans
Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, call reports, schedules, month end reports, etc.
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years of sales experience, technical background (engineering degree preferred), experience selling into the pharma and bio tech industry
