Packaging Specialist, Logistics – UnitedHealth Group – Overland Park, KS, USA

Must have working knowledge of TMS, Order Management and production operations systems
Required background in high volume plant operations with emphasis in packaging, Packing processes to improve cost and quality profiles. Experience is Cold Chain packaging is preferred. Will support all plants in packaging recommendations and standardization
Working knowledge of DOT and IATA rules and regulations to assure full compliance
Provide support for software applications as directed.
Assist us with research and development projects that address packing, packing components and transportation to drive improvements
Collect and interpret trends relative to products and services for use in our operations to improve cost and service profile.
You must be self-directed and creative as you will deal with some very interesting and complex issues. As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience in manufacturing/copack operation. Experience in a health care operation would be preferred.
