Operations Manager – MD Logistics – Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

This Position oversees the operations, maintenance and function of
Shared Pharma. Responsible for all activities occurring in the Shared Pharma
division including supply chain, distribution/cold storage, transportation,
inventory control, maintenance and regulatory compliance. Provides an
environment which ensures compliance with cGMP, Health and Safety, and all
other applicable local, state and federal regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
– Monitors policies and practices to ensure compliance
– Interprets and applies regulatory requirements
– Vendor relations and negotiations
– Reports on daily production, personnel and quality statistics
– Reviews and approves all operational SOP’s, operational deviations, and corrective actions
– Reviews and approves reports, plans and schedules
– Facilitate and maintain departmental training records
– Able to navigate WMS
– Monitors overall production and accuracy, ensuring production and customer requirements are
met.
– Implements new ideas in order to refine business and regulatory management processes
– Prepare and mange projects
– Strong interpersonal/communication skills
– Ability to confront and resolve conflict and lead efforts to resolve critical situations
MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES
Special Projects Assist in company wide activites associated with the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Minimum 10 years of
operational management including minimum 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Past
supervisory experience a must. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated
competence in critical thinking and problem solving skills, decision making, strategic planning
and people management. MS, WMS experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to physically count, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
REASONING ABILILTY
Ability to define problems establishes facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply
common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram
form.
