Manager Serialization Application and Process Value – BMS – Plainsboro, NJ, USA

Drives the implementation of serialization beyond compliance by developing executable solutions which will leverage existing capabilities and technologies to extract value from market driven compliance projects encompassing serialization. Works with cross functional teams within Global Packaging, Distribution and Logistics, Global Order to Cash, Information Technology, Commercial, Finance, Regulatory, Quality and Legal. Accesses all supply chain aspects of product movement, both internally and externally, including product distribution model, cold chain, returns processing and charge back as it relates to serialization. Works collaboratively with stakeholders to develop tools that return value to business units, customers and patients. Owns and manages project timelines, scope, risks, issues and actions in a matrixed environment. Ensures regular update to leadership team. Builds credibility, establishes rapport and maintains communications with stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to the organization. Supports the Market Integration function in areas like regulatory assessments, ReACT program, etc.
Responsibilities:
Project Manager responsible for coordinating multiple cross-functional work stream for implementation of serialization in global markets. Owns the market project plan
Collaborate with HQ, Commercial and local market Order to Cash, 3PL, GRS, Quality, IT, Finance and Legal teams to ensure alignment of product / site strategies pertaining to projects.
Translate strategies into actionable plans for projects.
Proactively maintains strong relationship with Distribution and Logistics, Customs and Trade, Order to Cash, IT and Commercial.
Develop innovative projects aiming to maximize the return value of the serialization program by leveraging serialization and serialization related technologies.
Represent Serialization program on projects pertaining to serialization beyond compliance. Lead examination of serialization in the supply chain by performing SKU/Site/3PL/Volume data analysis with the expectation of establishing tools to improve cold chain product handling, extending product visibility and identifying potential diversion.
Lead the implementation of specific projects for multiple markets in partnership with Packaging, Distribution and Logistics, Order to Cash, IT and Commercial organizations.
Assess project impact to local business processes as a result of developing serialization value chain tools.
Provide requirements to stakeholder areas for the purpose of developing project scope, budget and timelines.
Ensure deliverables are met on time and market regulatory and quality requirements are maintained.
Qualifications
BS or BA degree preferably in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Strong ability to communicate ideas and influence in a complex, high impact environment
Required: Experience with large, cross-functional programs.
Required: Ability to foster and participate in a team based environment and to establish and maintain a cooperative relationships with individuals and teams contacted during the course of work.
Required: 4-6 years’ experience total business experience, pharmaceutical, serialization and/or supply chain experience
Strongly Preferred: 2-3 years of Project Management experience. PMP certification a plus.
Strongly Preferred: Relevant experience in a broad range of Supply Chain activities such as, but not limited to, cold chain, pick pack ship process and returns.
Strongly Preferred: Self Starter, organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines.
Preferred: Comprehensive understanding of all supply chain dynamics, processes and workflow in a batch manufacturing environment
Preferred: Strong presentation and communication skills both, oral and written
Preferred: Strong analytical and problem solving skills
