*Manages all facets of Billing and Invoicing for PBM and Specialty accounts for all carriers (Mail Innovations, UPS, FedEx, Regional, and local Carriers).
*Manage and advise on all reports and provide analysis related to monthly and weekly invoices.
*Work closely with the Analytics team to build efficient tools that provides weekly invoices reports for finance departments as well as accounts payable Interface with the Accounts Payable department and maintain the processes that enabled weekly payments to meet the vendors’ contractual requirements
*Provide ability to audit and confirm all payments before processing.
*Work with new vendors including GSO and RRD to simplify the billing process through an EDI vs. manually billed invoices
*Advise business leaders on process improvements and drive savings by streamlining Specialty and PBM processes.
*Reports and Analysis
*Partner with the Analytics Group to design reporting that provides visibility to freight spending to senior business leaders.
*Build enhanced tools and processes that enable all Specialty locations to generate savings.
*Construct a comprehensive Analysis Package for the leadership of the organization that provides Dashboard information to manage the business.
*Define metrics that include all carriers’ charges per month per location in comparison with the scheduled freight budget.
*Cold Chain Enterprise Project and Specialty Packaging
*Knowledge and experience with Bar Code Scanning systems. Knowledge of rate tables and how rate tables work in conjunction with carrier and service type.
*Knowledge and experience with packing and shipping functions. The position requires knowledge of packaging materials, transit time and Cold Chain requirements.
*Provide analysis of packaging studies to reduce costs and improve efficiency in back end processes.
*Produce cost analysis of Scanning Systems and Production Supplies as well as labor content in back end operations.
*Create training materials and conducted meeting and produce work instructions & Job Aids to help train and educate staff across the Specialty and PBM network for required back end functions . Required Qualifications:
*At least 10 years experience in Logistics, Finance, Operations, or Auditing Preferred Qualifications:
*Experience in finance, cost accounting or similar functions.
*Knowledge of Specialty and PBM operations.
*Knowledge of Scanning Systems.
*Software and Logic related to shipping Pharmaceuticals.
*Moderate to deep Logistics experience.
*Industrial engineering experience. Education:
*BS in Business Administration or comparable field.
*MBA in Business Administration or comparable field a bonus.
