The purpose of this role is to provide Global Temperature Control oversight and management delivering compliant, sustainable and agile solutions meeting temperature control requirements. This is critical to ensure material and product quality, integrity and supply continuity.
The main accountabilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Advancing Global Temperature Control strategy and Virtual Center of Excellence(vCofE)
Internal and External collaboration to refine Temperature Control benchmark roadmap
Program management, delivery of best practices, initiatives, KPI management and proactive course correction
Continuous optimization and robustness of Temperature Control performance
Leading Temperature Control vCofE Scale and Scope of the Role:
Temperature Control oversight and management of storage, preparation and
transport temperature control processes

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
20% – Utilizing reporting systems, networks and information to continually evaluate and analyze global Temperature Control evolving regulations, region and site requirements, risks and opportunities. Establish and execute holistic Temperature Control strategy, roadmap and KPIs which will ensure material/product quality and supply continuity.
15% – Enhance the functional organization structure and staffing plan to meet the functional, GSC and BMS objectives of cost, service and quality. Ensure the right person (talent) is doing the right work (key objectives) at the right time (priorities). Develop and deploy functional sustainability and succession planning capabilities.
10% – Implement and manage efficient Temperature Control operating model with clear cross functional roles and responsibilities which support global requirement assessments, strategy development, delivery and overall program oversight.
20% – Establish and manage Temperature Control Program to manage changing requirements, roadmap and KPI interaction to ensure a high level or delivery and performance.
20% – Advance Temperature Control vCofE developing and supporting the virtual team in the achievement of benchmark Temperature Control capabilities. Provide leadership, strategy development, best practices, research, support and/or training for any and all aspects of Temperature Control within BMS.
15% – In collaboration with GLS Leadership, establish a framework of key and supporting metrics that provide both indicators of past performance as well as leading indicators of projected performance. Ensure sustainability of metrics and standardization across all Temperature Control processes, services and solutions and implement appropriate cadence and forum for review and discussion.
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the global practices where business is conducted.
Qualifications Knowledge/Skill: Education:
Undergraduate Degree preferably in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Packaging Engineering
Advanced degree, diploma or certification in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Thermal Packaging strongly preferred Experience/Knowledge Desired:
Required: 10+ years of Logistics/Temperature Control Management experience from a reputed, global Pharmaceutical or similar product profile company. 7+ years should be in positions of management.
Required: Significant knowledge and best practice experience developing, implementing and overseeing a Temperature Control program which establishes robust temperature control solutions considering regulatory and logistics requirements.
Required: Good understanding and exposure to current Good Distribution Practices (cGDP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other global regulatory requirements.
Strongly Preferred: Experience in developing and implementing world class global Temperature Control processes, management through deployment and into sustained operation model.
Preferred: Exposure and experience in Supply Chain process, principles and practices Personal Competencies Desired/Required:
