Our client is a multinational in the design and qualification of insulated shipping systems for global pharmaceutical and biotech industries in order to protect a diverse array of medical products including vaccines and drugs during transportation. They are currently growing and are aiming to become the global supplier for cold chain solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
OmschrijvingOur client is currently looking for a Business Development Manager for the Benelux and Nordics area. In this entrepreneurial and self-starting role, you will be mainly responsible for the development and implementation of the agreed business plan that will meet business objectives for growth and revenue generation. Therefore, you will manage assigned key accounts and develop new business, by building professional relationships with (potential) customers. As a Business Development Manager, you will report directly to the International Sales Manager.
Key responsibilities
– Achieving annual sales targets and to maintain, grow and record revenues and profit contributions from allocated accounts and markets
– Locating, identifying and developing new long term business opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects
Managing, understanding and interpreting customer requirements and offering products to meet their needs
– Expanding business intelligence by being aware of all opportunities to further increase the market share and developing new business within existing accounts and new prospects
– Becoming the liaison point between customers and internally within the company in order to successfully manage customer projects to maximise results
Gezocht profielExport and international B2B sales experience is highly preferred
Experience in cold chain packaging/ packaging sales in Pharma/Biotech sectors is desirable
Strong commercial awareness including setting and overseeing of budgets
Strong oral and written presentation/communication skills, high level of interpersonal skills
Customer focused, analytical approach
Influential and persuasive
Fluency in Dutch and English
